Today, the children used their understanding of ratio and scaling recipes to create some delicious mocktails. Each group were given a recipe for a mocktail that used a ratio. Once the children had calculated how much of each ingredient were needed for 1 drink, they then had to scale the recipe up to make enough for their whole table. Finally, the children put their measuring skills to the test to create their cocktail and enjoyed a taste test. Great work Year 6!
