This half term, Reception class are enjoying lots of traditional tales. We have been reading the story of “The Gingerbread Man” and as part of our learning we have written a shopping list and taken it to our local shop to buy the ingredients needed to make our own gingerbread. We have used our understanding of measuring weight from our maths learning to help us measure out ingredients. We have then followed instructions to make our own gingerbread and baked it in the oven. We kept a close eye on it as it was cooking and luckily none of our gingerbread men ran away!
