Ambulance Visit
On Thursday, Nursery received a visit from a nurse and a paramedic. They spoke to us about what to do if someone is unwell, when it is an emergency and when you might need to call for an ambulance.
We looked at some of the items a paramedic uses to help people, tried on some of their uniform and were even able to have a look inside the ambulance. It was very interesting to see all the different machines and tools that are used on board.
It was a lovely visit that has inspired the children to take on the role of a paramedic during their play. They have been practicing to ring 999 and learning what to say if they need help in an emergency. We were very grateful for the visit and would like to say a big thank you to our visitors.
