Last week, Reception class took delivery of some duck eggs and have been patiently observing for them to hatch into ducklings. In the meantime, we have been learning information about ducks and some of the BSL signs associated with the key vocabulary.
We were lucky enough to have 3 eggs hatch into ducklings and are spending time this week observing them to watch how they change as they grow. We are investigated the life cycle of a duck.

Today we watched the ducklings have a swim and interact together. The children were fascinated and are looking forward to a handling session tomorrow.
