As part of our science topic this half-term, the children in Year 4 have been investigating creating electrical circuits. After our safety instructions were given, children were given all the equipment they needed to create a successful circuit and then asked to work together in pairs to create a complete circuit. Through working together, we were all able to create a complete circuit and explain why it worked. As the lesson progressed, we began to look at adding a switch to the circuit and the children were able to explain how and why a switch is used in an electrical circuit.
