Today in Early Years, we had a very exciting visit from a team of firefighters and their fire engine. The firefighters showed the children the tools that they have on board as well as the protective equipment they wear and use in an emergency. We got the chance to sit inside the fire engine as well as a go at using the hose! The firefighters then squirted the hose so high that it reached the top of the school building and created a lovely rainbow! 
As the fire engine drove out of the playground, we got to see the blue flashing lights and hear the noise of the sirens.
