Last week, was anti-bullying week in school. All of our children focused on the theme "Choose Respect" which of course, is one of our school values.

We explored the meaning of bullying and different scenarios where this can occur. This was alongside considering what respect is and how we show this and see others demonstrating this value.
Each class created a class pledge around choosing respect and came up with top tips for managing conflict respectfully should it arise. 

The children developed their oracy skills through participating in role play and drama as well as creative activities like designing their own socks to show individuality and respect differences and designing posters to promote choosing respect.
Our early years children explored the theme of "Choose Respect" through exploring lots of stories such as "This is Our House" and "Simon Sock".
