We have been learning about the main character, August, and his journey towards starting school. We have inferred how different characters feel and completed a 'Zone of Relevance' activity to rank adjectives. The children then took part in some drama using freeze frames to demonstrate how characters feel, using their facial expressions and body language to show emotions.
