This half term, Year 3 have been learning about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. They have made their own Rangoli pattern and their own Diya lamp.

Year 3 were fortunate to have a parent volunteer to visit their classroom. She shared a lovely story about Diwali, detailing how it's celebrated across India and by communities around the world. The children were also introduced to some traditional Indian dancing.
