Anti-Bullying Week – Make Some Noise!
The theme of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week was Make Some Noise and during the week we encouraged the children to make some noise by discussing what bullying is, what we can do to make sure bullying doesn’t happen at our school and what the children’s should do if they experience bullying.
The week started with Odd Socks Day on Monday where children were invited to school in socks of their choice to celebrate diversity. Classes took part in assemblies, PSHE lessons and buddied up to play and work with other children across school.
School Council judged an Anti-Bullying Poster competition and winning posters will be displayed across school. There was also a home learning poetry competition where pupils could express their thoughts about bullying through poetry.
