Nursery have been having lots of fun learning about the seaside. After reading the story ‘Sharing a Shell’, the children were very interested in rockpools, so we have been looking up information about which creatures might live in a rockpool and have been making some of our own.

We have also been looking at lots of different types of fish, crabs and other sea life creatures.

We have been talking about our own experiences of visiting the seaside and have made our own ice cream shop. It has been fun pretending to get ready to go to the beach. We have been putting on our sun cream and wearing our sun hats and sunglasses to protect us from the sun.
